Bunker Brews Event

Jason Cavness interviews Jared Wharton in a fireside chat about the highs and lows of brick-and-mortar businesses.

Jason Cavness served 25 years in the Army, before founding his own HR consulting company, CavnessHR, which creates HR solutions for companies of under 50 employees.

Jared Wharton is an 8 year Army Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. He decided to put his knowledge of brewing to work and opened Forward Operating Base Brewing Company in DuPont. While his target audience is service members and Vets, which is visible from the taproom decor to the names awarded to his beers, anyone can walk through the door and enjoy great food and craft beer just across from Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Jared was recently awarded the Top Venture Impacting Veterans by the Disabled American Veterans and placed 3rd in the South Sound Hazy IPA Competition.

Jared created FOB for America's soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and those who love them.

This event is in association with Bunker Brews, our monthly meetup where the Bunker Labs community — veterans, military spouses, and civilians alike — can network with subject-matter experts, investors, thought leaders, and more to create a robust environment for business growth and development.
